Google unveils a next generation email application ‘INBOX’ on 22 October 2014 to manage emails in more intelligent way.
The application is a combination of your Gmail Inbox and Google Now service developed by Gmail team.

We’re introducing something new. It’s called Inbox. Years in the making, Inbox is by the same people who brought you Gmail, but it’s not Gmail: it’s a completely different type of inbox, designed to focus on what really matters.

Currently Inbox is available for invited users only as Google has done for Gmail when it was launched in early 2004.
