PM Vishwakarma Yojana (Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana) is a scheme launched by the Central Government of India for craftsmen. It is a central sector scheme that was launched by the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi on September 17, 2023, to provide end-to-end assistance to artisans and craftsmen working with their hands and tools. makers, armour, blacksmiths, locksmiths etc. Craftsmen get loans up to Rs 3 lakh. It must be

Benefits of PM Vishwakarma Yojana

(1) In this scheme, artisans and craftsmen will get certificates and ID cards.
(2) Basic training of 5-7 days and advance training of 15 days or more at an expenditure of
Rs 500 per day.
(3) Loan assistance by the Government up to Rs. 3 lakhs. Loan
(4) Marketing support will be provided to artisans and craftsmen in the form of quality
certification branding, onboarding one commerce platform.
(5) Toolkit incentive of up to Rs. 15,000 in the form of e-vouchers at the beginning of skill
training.
An artisan or craftsman traditionally works with hands and tools and is engaged in one of the
above family-based traditional trades. The minimum age should be more than 18 years. The
scheme covers artisans and craftspeople engaged in 18 trades.

How to apply for PM VISHWAKARMA scheme?

STEP 1-First of all, go to the official website of PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman yojana
https://pmvishwakarma.gov.in and click on login.

STEP 2-After clicking on login, you have to select “csc-view E-Sharam Data” option.

STEP 3-Afer on the next page you have to enter your “Username” and “Password” and enter the
captcha code and click on sign in.

STEP 4- After clicking on sign in, your account will be created. Now to apply online you have to came to the home page of the website again, click on the login button and select the option “csc-Register Artisans”.

STEP 5- After that, you have to enter the username and password that you had entered while
creating the account here.

STEP 6- After that in the next step you will be asked whether there is any government employee in your house? You have to select “no” there and click on the “continue” button.

STEP 7- In the next step you have to linked “mobile number” and “Aadhar Card Number”. Then you
have to tick on the “Term and Condition” and click on the “Generate OTP”.

STEP 8- After clicking on the Generate OTP, the OTP will appear. The OTP will be in six digit “Enter the OTP” and then click on continue.

STEP 9- After clicking on continue, you will have to do Aadhar authentication. Biometric verification by tick the terms and condition and clicking on “Verify Biometric”.

STEP 10- In next step a form will open and then you have to fill the information which includes
name, father name, date of birth and gender. After that marital status, category of artisans
[GEN\ST\SC\OBC] select.

STEP 11- After that the page of contact details will open in front of you where your mobile number and Aadhar number will be there.

STEP 12- If your Aadhar card is linked with your ration card, then your family information will enter automatically. If your Aadhar card is not linked with ration card. Then add the information.

STEP 13- Aadhar address, state, district, and pin code will be automatically entered in the Aadhar card details. If your current location is same as Aadhar card than you have to click on “Same as Aadhar Address”. Then you have to select whether the artisans come under gram panchayat or not, if yes then click on the block and select gram panchayat.

STEP 14- If the artisans is from urban area, then select “No” in and if you came under gram
panchayat select “ULB” name.

STEP 15- After this you have to select “Professional Trade”. Details first, then select category. Click on “Aadhar address” and click on next.

STEP 16- If business address is different than Aadhar and current address than select other option and enter business address.

STEP 17- In next step, you will get the option to enter bank details. Enter the artisan’s bank account name, IFSC code, bank branch name, account number and enter the account number.

STEP 18- In the credit support section. Select whether the artisan requires credit support [yes or no may be later] and if credit support required entered the amount up to ₹ 1,00,000. If artisans want to take loan, in same saving bank, then preferred bank to take loan, select same as saving bank account.

STEP 19- If artisans want to take loan from another bank, then select other and select the branch where artisans want to take loan. Select the purpose of loan and enter existing loan outstanding information if any enter total monthly family income. Then he\she physically disable or not.

STEP 20- In the next step you have to enter your UPI ID and enter the details. If you do not have UPI ID than click on “NO”. Then you have to enter the “Mobile No” linked to the UPI ID.

STEP 21- In the skill training section and toolkit section read and understand the benefits of scheme.

STEP 22- Select all type of facilities you need in marketing support.

STEP 23- Accepts terms and conditions.

STEP 24- After allowing terms and condition, your online application for Vishwakarma Kaushal
Samman Yojana will be successfully submitted.
